Not much support

Previous version gave blank page (no maps) after pressing location icon. I waited nearly six weeks before updating to current version to give time for developer to correct "closing after 20 seconds" mentioned in another review. Latest update does indeed close after a few seconds on iPad 1 with IOS 5.1.1. Many GPSers prefer iPad 1 because it is the most robust of all the iPads. Screen is almost immune from damage due to rough handling, especially when compared to later versions of iPad. iPad 1 cannot be upgraded to IOS6, and Apple will apparently not be supporting iPad 1 beyond 5.1.1. I will wait 30 days for usable version. After that I will be compelled to delete, as there are other similar apps that work well. Developer please take note!
